OUTDORR is owned and operated by ASCND Collective Company Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria, trading as OUTDORR ("OUTDORR", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that we may process your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should not use the Platform.
This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Organizer Terms, refund rules, event-specific rules, and any other policies that apply to your use of the Platform.

This Privacy Policy covers personal information we collect directly from you, automatically from your device or use of the Platform, from other users, from event organizers, from payment providers, from verification providers, from safety reports, from third-party service providers, and from other lawful sources.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, payment providers, venues, organizers, advertisers, social media platforms, map providers, weather providers, cloud providers, or other third parties that may have their own privacy policies, unless we expressly state otherwise.
3. Our Role
For most Platform activities, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, trading as OUTDORR, is the controller or responsible party for the personal information processed through the Platform.
In some cases, event organizers, payment providers, map providers, weather providers, verification providers, cloud providers, email providers, analytics providers, venues, or other third parties may act as separate controllers or independent parties under their own privacy policies and legal obligations.
Where we use service providers to process personal information on our behalf, we aim to use them under appropriate contractual, security, confidentiality, and data protection obligations.
4. Countries Where We Operate
OUTDORR may be available in Nigeria, Ghana, Benin Republic, and other countries. Data protection, consumer protection, payment, event, and safety laws may differ by country.
We aim to process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy and data protection laws. Users may have different rights depending on where they live, where they use the Platform, where an event takes place, and which laws apply.
Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit privacy rights that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.

Cookies and similar technologies, where applicable, such as cookies, pixels, local storage, SDK identifiers, and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Platform, prevent fraud, analyze usage, improve performance, and support marketing where permitted.
7. Location, Maps, and Nearby Features
OUTDORR may use location-related information to provide event discovery, nearby events, attendee discovery, map views, distance estimates, event recommendations, location-based search, safety features, weather features, venue information, and other location-based services.
Location-related information may include precise GPS location where you grant permission, approximate location based on IP address or device settings, event locations, venue addresses, selected map locations, saved places, search locations, check-in information where enabled, distance estimates, and location metadata attached to content you upload.
You can usually control precise location permissions through your device settings. If you disable location permissions, some features may not work properly, including nearby event discovery, map-based recommendations, weather for your current location, attendee discovery, distance estimates, and location-based safety features.
The Platform uses Mapbox for map-related features. When you use map features, location search, venue display, directions, distance estimates, or other map-related services, certain information may be processed through Mapbox, such as coordinates, selected locations, venue locations, map searches, IP address, device information, and technical usage data, depending on how the feature is used and configured.
Mapbox may process some information under its own policies where applicable. We encourage users to review Mapbox's privacy information.
8. Weather Features and AccuWeather
OUTDORR may display weather information for events, venues, nearby locations, selected locations, or your current location where you grant permission or choose a location.
Weather features may be powered by AccuWeather. To provide weather forecasts, weather alerts, temperature, rain information, or event-related weather context, we may send AccuWeather or related weather-service systems information such as event location, venue location, selected city, coordinates, approximate location, IP-derived location, date, time, device information, and technical request data.
We use weather information to improve event discovery, planning, safety, and user experience. AccuWeather may process some information under its own policies where applicable. We encourage users to review AccuWeather's privacy information.
9. Verification, Likeness Checks, and Amazon Rekognition
OUTDORR may require or offer verification checks to reduce impersonation, fake accounts, fraud, scams, abuse, and unsafe activity.
Verification may include selfies, profile photo comparison, liveness checks, likeness checks, face comparison, account information, phone number verification, email verification, device information, fraud signals, and related verification results.
OUTDORR uses Amazon Rekognition, an Amazon Web Services service, for certain likeness, face-comparison, liveness, or image-analysis functions. This may involve processing images, selfies, face-related data, face vectors or similar technical representations, comparison results, confidence scores, timestamps, and verification outcomes.
We use likeness and verification information to confirm that a user appears to match their profile, reduce impersonation, detect fake or duplicate accounts, prevent fraud, improve platform safety, respond to reports, enforce our Terms, and protect users.
We do not use Amazon Rekognition or likeness verification to sell biometric information, identify you across unrelated third-party services, conduct unrelated surveillance, or create unrelated advertising profiles.
Verification tools may produce automated technical results. However, verification does not guarantee a user's identity, character, intentions, background, conduct, safety, or suitability. We may use human review, additional checks, or other safety signals where appropriate.
If you do not complete required verification, you may be unable to access some Platform features, including messaging, attendee discovery, ticketing, event creation, or other safety-sensitive features.
10. Emails and Amazon Email Services
OUTDORR may send transactional, service, security, support, legal, marketing, and notification emails.
Email delivery may be powered by Amazon Web Services, including Amazon Simple Email Service or related Amazon email infrastructure. To send emails, we may process information such as your email address, name, account details, email content, notification type, delivery status, bounce information, complaint information, timestamps, technical headers, and related email logs.
You may unsubscribe from certain marketing emails where required by law, but we may still send important transactional, legal, security, account, ticketing, event, safety, and service-related messages.
11. Cloudflare, Security, Performance, and Edge Services
OUTDORR uses Cloudflare for security, performance, traffic routing, DNS, CDN, DDoS protection, bot management, firewall protection, rate limiting, caching, API protection, Cloudflare Workers, and other services required to operate and protect an app of this level.
When you access or use the Platform, Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses, request headers, URLs, traffic routing data, device and browser information, security signals, bot-detection signals, firewall events, DNS data, logs, and information about traffic to and from the Platform.
Cloudflare may process some information as our service provider or processor, and some information may be processed under Cloudflare's own policies depending on the service and context.
We use Cloudflare-related information to protect the Platform, prevent attacks, detect abuse, improve performance, route traffic, secure APIs, run edge functions, investigate incidents, enforce rate limits, and maintain service availability.
12. Information Stored on Our Servers
Except where third-party providers process information as described in this Privacy Policy, OUTDORR stores core Platform information on servers controlled or used by OUTDORR.
This may include account information, profiles, event information, ticketing records, chat records, images, voice notes, game responses, reports, moderation records, verification results, support records, device logs, security logs, and operational records.
Our servers may be operated directly by us or by hosting, infrastructure, database, storage, backup, monitoring, or security providers that support the Platform. We may change infrastructure providers over time, provided that we continue to use reasonable security, contractual, and privacy safeguards.
13. Chats, Images, Voice Notes, Games, and User Content
The Platform may allow users to send chats, images, voice notes, audio, game responses, reactions, comments, and other user-generated content.
We may process this content to deliver messages, display media, run games, enable user interactions, support safety tools, allow users to report content, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, comply with law, and improve the Platform.
Chats and media are not guaranteed to be private from the recipients. Users who receive messages, images, voice notes, or other content may view, save, screenshot, download, record, forward, or share them outside the Platform. OUTDORR cannot control what another user does with content after they receive or view it.
If a chat, image, voice note, game response, profile, event, or user interaction is reported, we may review the reported content and related account, device, event, ticketing, verification, and technical information needed to investigate the report.
We do not promise to monitor every chat, image, voice note, game response, or interaction. However, we may use automated tools, manual review, user reports, security systems, and other signals to detect abuse, fraud, harassment, impersonation, unsafe activity, illegal content, or violations of our Terms.
14. Reports, Safety Reviews, and Moderation Data
Users may report profiles, chats, images, voice notes, game responses, events, organizers, attendees, transactions, tickets, comments, or other activity.
When a report is made, we may collect and review information such as the report content, reporter details, reported user details, relevant chats, images, voice notes, media, game responses, profile information, verification information, event records, ticket records, payment-related records, device information, IP addresses, location-related information, security logs, and moderation history.
We may use this information to investigate reports, enforce our Terms, protect users, prevent scams, reduce fraud, remove unsafe content, suspend accounts, restrict features, cancel tickets, withhold payouts, communicate with users, respond to legal requests, and improve Platform safety.
Reports may be retained even if a user deletes their account, message, profile, event, or content, where retention is necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement, or protection of users.
15. Event Organizer and Attendee Data
If you create, manage, promote, sell tickets for, attend, save, purchase tickets for, or interact with an event, we may process event-related information.
For attendees, this may include event views, saved events, ticket purchases, orders, ticket IDs, QR codes, transfer history, attendance status, check-in records, refund requests, disputes, support requests, and communications with organizers or OUTDORR.
For organizers, this may include organizer profile, business details, contact information, event listings, event images, ticket types, payout information, tax or compliance information where required, refund obligations, attendee records, event performance, user complaints, chargebacks, safety reports, and event verification records.
Organizers may receive certain attendee information needed to run the event, verify tickets, manage entry, communicate event updates, process refunds, comply with law, or provide event services. Organizers must handle attendee data lawfully and only for proper event-related purposes.
16. Payment and Transaction Information
When you purchase tickets, receive payouts, request refunds, or use payment-related features, we may collect and process payment and transaction-related information.
This may include order details, ticket details, amount paid, currency, fees, taxes, billing information, payment status, payment method type, payment provider identifiers, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, payout details, fraud signals, risk checks, and support records.
Complete payment card details are generally processed by authorized third-party payment providers and not stored by OUTDORR unless expressly stated and legally permitted.
Payment providers may process personal information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may share information with payment providers to process payments, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, comply with law, process refunds, manage chargebacks, and support payouts.
17. How We Use Personal Information
We may use personal information to create and manage accounts; provide event discovery, ticketing, event creation, messaging, maps, weather, media sharing, games, verification, support, and other Platform features; process payments, refunds, payouts, disputes, and chargebacks; verify users and organizers; reduce fake accounts, impersonation, fraud, scams, and unsafe activity; display events, profiles, attendee discovery, maps, weather, recommendations, and personalized features; deliver chats, images, voice notes, game responses, notifications, and user content; provide customer support and respond to complaints; investigate reports, enforce our Terms, moderate content, and protect users; improve, test, analyze, debug, secure, and develop the Platform; send service, security, legal, transactional, marketing, and support communications; comply with laws, regulations, legal processes, and tax/accounting obligations; respond to law enforcement, courts, regulators, emergency services, or safety authorities where legally required or permitted; prevent harm, fraud, abuse, illegal activity, and security incidents; and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
18. Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on where you are located and which laws apply, we may rely on one or more legal bases to process personal information, including:
Consent, where you grant permission for location access, marketing communications, optional verification, optional profile information, or other consent-based processing.
Contract necessity, where processing is needed to provide the Platform, manage your account, deliver tickets, process transactions, provide event features, enable messaging, or perform our Terms.
Legal obligation, where processing is needed to comply with laws, tax obligations, accounting rules, court orders, regulatory requests, consumer protection rules, law enforcement requests, or other legal duties.
Legitimate interests, where processing is needed for security, fraud prevention, safety, moderation, service improvement, analytics, support, dispute resolution, enforcement, platform integrity, business operations, or protecting the rights and safety of users, OUTDORR, organizers, partners, or the public.
Vital interests or safety interests, where processing is needed to prevent death, serious injury, abuse, exploitation, violence, fraud, scams, or other urgent safety risks.
Public interest or legal claims, where applicable law recognizes such grounds.
19. When We Share Personal Information
We may share personal information with:
Other users, where necessary for profiles, attendee discovery, chats, games, event attendance, ticket transfers, user interactions, public content, or features you choose to use.
Event organizers, where necessary to manage ticketing, event access, attendee lists, refunds, safety notices, event communications, check-ins, or legal obligations.
Service providers, including hosting, database, storage, cloud, security, email, verification, map, weather, payment, analytics, customer support, fraud prevention, moderation, notification, and infrastructure providers.
Amazon Web Services, including Amazon Rekognition for likeness or verification functions and Amazon email services for email delivery and related logs.

Mapbox, for maps, venue display, geocoding, location search, directions, distance estimates, and map-related services.
AccuWeather, for weather forecasts, alerts, weather context, and event-related weather features.
Payment providers, banks, card networks, payout providers, and fraud-prevention partners for payments, refunds, payouts, chargebacks, and fraud checks.
Professional advisers, including lawyers, auditors, insurers, accountants, consultants, and compliance advisers.
Law enforcement, courts, regulators, emergency services, safety authorities, or government agencies where required by law, permitted by law, or reasonably necessary to protect safety, investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, or respond to valid legal process.
Business transfer parties, where we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, investment, due diligence, or similar corporate transaction.
Other parties with your consent, at your direction, or as otherwise disclosed to you.
20. Third-Party Policies
Third-party services used by OUTDORR may have their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, data retention rules, and legal obligations.
Where third-party services act as our processors or service providers, we aim to require them to process information in accordance with our instructions and applicable law. Where third-party services act as independent controllers or separate providers, their own policies may also apply.
You should review the privacy policies of relevant third parties, including Mapbox, AccuWeather, Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, payment providers, and any other third-party services displayed or linked in the Platform.
21. International Data Transfers
Because OUTDORR may operate across multiple countries and use service providers in different countries, personal information may be stored, accessed, processed, or transferred outside the country where you live, use the Platform, attend an event, or purchase tickets.
This may include transfers to Nigeria, Ghana, Benin Republic, the United States, Europe, or other countries where our servers, service providers, infrastructure providers, support teams, cloud providers, or business partners operate.
Where required by applicable law, we will use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections, data processing agreements, security measures, transfer assessments, or other legally recognized safeguards.
22. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing the Platform, maintaining accounts, processing tickets, operating events, handling payments and payouts, sending communications, preventing fraud, investigating reports, ensuring safety, complying with law, resolving disputes, enforcing our Terms, keeping business records, and defending legal claims.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the purpose of processing, legal requirements, safety needs, fraud risks, payment disputes, tax/accounting obligations, organizer obligations, and whether the information is connected to a report, investigation, chargeback, refund, legal request, or dispute.
Examples of data we may retain include account records, profile information, verification records, event records, ticketing records, payment and payout records, support records, chat and media records, reports, moderation records, device logs, security logs, and legal compliance records.
When information is no longer needed, we may delete it, anonymize it, aggregate it, or retain it only where legally permitted or required.
Backups and logs may remain for a limited period after deletion from active systems, unless retained longer for legal, security, fraud-prevention, safety, or operational reasons.
23. Account Deletion and Data Deletion Requests
You may request to delete your profile or account through the Platform settings, where available, or by contacting us through our support or privacy channels.
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your OUTDORR account, profile, tickets, messages, event records, payment records, reports, or personal information. To delete your account, you must complete the account deletion process provided by OUTDORR.
When you request account deletion, we may deactivate or hide your public profile and restrict your access to the Platform. We will then delete, anonymize, or retain personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, applicable law, and our legal, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, platform-integrity, and enforcement needs.
Account deletion may not immediately or completely remove information that has already been shared with other users, included in event records, included in ticketing records, included in payment records, copied or saved by another user, reported to OUTDORR, preserved for investigation, retained in backups, required by law, or needed to protect users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, respond to legal requests, or defend legal claims.
Messages, images, voice notes, game responses, and other content you sent to other users may remain visible to those users after you delete your account, unless removed by us or deleted according to Platform functionality. Other users may also have screenshots, downloads, recordings, or copies outside the Platform, and OUTDORR cannot control or guarantee deletion of content once another user has viewed, copied, stored, exported, recorded, or shared it.
If you are an event organizer, account deletion may be delayed, restricted, or processed differently while you have active events, pending payouts, refund obligations, attendee disputes, chargebacks, tax obligations, safety complaints, regulatory issues, fraud reviews, legal claims, or unresolved organizer responsibilities.
If your account is under investigation, linked to a report, connected to suspected harmful conduct, fraud, abuse, payment risk, safety risk, legal request, or violation of our Terms, we may preserve relevant information even after you request deletion, to the extent permitted or required by applicable law.
24. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion of personal information, restriction of processing, objection to certain processing, withdrawal of consent, portability of personal information, information about how we process your data, and the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
These rights may be subject to legal limits, identity verification, safety exceptions, fraud-prevention needs, legal obligations, ongoing disputes, reports, investigations, tax/accounting rules, or other permitted grounds for retention.
To exercise your privacy rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request.
25. Choices and Controls
You may control some personal information through your account settings, profile settings, privacy settings, device permissions, notification preferences, marketing preferences, and app settings.
You may be able to update your profile, change your event preferences, control location permissions, manage push notifications, unsubscribe from marketing emails, delete some content, block or report users, and request account deletion.
If you disable certain permissions or refuse certain information, some Platform features may not work properly, including location-based discovery, maps, weather, verification, ticketing, attendee discovery, messaging, notifications, or event organizer tools.
26. Marketing and Notifications
We may send you emails, push notifications, SMS messages, in-app messages, or other communications about your account, tickets, events, security, safety, policy updates, support, refunds, purchases, organizer activity, recommendations, promotions, and Platform updates.
You may opt out of certain marketing communications where required by law. However, we may still send service-related, transactional, legal, security, ticketing, safety, support, and account messages.
27. Children and Age Restrictions
The Platform is not intended for children below the minimum age required to use the Platform under our Terms or applicable law.
Users must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction to create an account or use features that require registration, unless use is permitted by law with appropriate parental or guardian consent and supervision.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where prohibited by law. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without required consent, we may delete the information, restrict the account, or take other appropriate action.
28. Security
We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures may include access controls, encryption where appropriate, secure infrastructure, server protections, Cloudflare security services, logging, monitoring, rate limiting, fraud detection, verification checks, internal policies, and restricted access to personal information.
No system, platform, transmission, server, cloud service, or security measure is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your login credentials, device access, and account security.
29. Law Enforcement, Safety Authorities, and Legal Requests
We may preserve, access, review, use, and disclose relevant personal information where we reasonably believe disclosure is required or permitted by applicable law.
This may include disclosure to law enforcement, courts, regulators, emergency services, safety authorities, legal advisers, payment providers, fraud-prevention partners, or other appropriate parties in Nigeria, Ghana, Benin Republic, the country where a user is located, the country where an event takes place, or any other country connected to the relevant incident, transaction, report, investigation, legal request, or safety concern.
We may disclose information where necessary to comply with applicable law, court order, warrant, subpoena, regulatory request, or valid legal process; respond to lawful requests from law enforcement or safety authorities; investigate or prevent fraud, harassment, threats, violence, abuse, exploitation, illegal activity, security incidents, or violations of our Terms; protect the rights, safety, property, reputation, or security of OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, users, organizers, attendees, staff, partners, or the public; prevent death, bodily harm, serious injury, abuse, exploitation, scams, fraud, or other urgent safety risks; enforce our Terms, policies, agreements, or legal rights; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where reasonably possible, we will assess law enforcement or government requests before disclosure. However, in urgent situations involving safety risks, illegal activity, user protection, platform security, or public safety, we may disclose relevant information without prior notice to the affected user, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We will aim to disclose only information reasonably necessary for the relevant legal, safety, investigative, or enforcement purpose.
30. Automated Tools, Recommendations, and Profiling
OUTDORR may use automated systems, algorithms, risk tools, and recommendation systems to operate the Platform.
These may be used to recommend events, display nearby content, match users with relevant events or people, detect fraud, identify fake accounts, prioritize safety reports, flag suspicious activity, support verification, rank content, personalize notifications, and improve user experience.
We do not intend to use automated systems to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review where required by applicable law.
31. Data Breaches and Security Incidents
If we become aware of a data breach or security incident affecting personal information, we will take steps to investigate, contain, assess, and respond to the incident.
Where required by applicable law, we will notify affected users, regulators, partners, or other relevant parties.
32. Business Transfers
If OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, or part of our business is involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, transfer, insolvency, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards where required.
33. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the Platform, by email, or by other appropriate means where required.
The updated version will apply from the date stated in the policy, unless applicable law requires a different process.
