Terms of Service
Last Updated: July 20th 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to OUTDORR. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OUTDORR website, mobile application, event discovery services, ticketing services, verification tools, messaging features, media-sharing features, attendee discovery features, games, networking features, and other related services provided through OUTDORR (collectively, the "Platform").
The Platform is owned and operated by ASCND Collective Company Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria, trading as OUTDORR ("OUTDORR", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing, registering for, or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional policies referenced in these Terms, including our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, refund rules, and any event-specific terms that may apply. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.
2. International Use and Local Laws
Although OUTDORR is owned by a Nigerian company, the Platform may be accessed or used in multiple countries and regions where the Platform is made available.
Users, attendees, vendors, partners, and other persons who use the Platform are responsible for complying with all laws, regulations, licensing requirements, consumer-protection rules, event-safety rules, data-protection rules, and other legal obligations that apply in the country, state, city, or location where they use the Platform, purchase tickets, attend an event, or interact with other users.
We do not represent that the Platform, any event, any ticket, or any user activity is lawful, available, or appropriate in every country or location. We may restrict, suspend, or limit access to the Platform, events, ticketing, messaging, verification, or other features in any country or region where we believe such access may create legal, regulatory, safety, fraud, or operational risks.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to create an account or use features that require registration. If you are under the required age, you may only use the Platform where permitted by applicable law and with the consent, permission, and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, that the information you provide to us is true and accurate, that you are not prohibited by law from using the Platform, and that you will not use the Platform for any fraudulent, abusive, harmful, unsafe, or unlawful purpose.
We may refuse registration, restrict access, suspend an account, terminate an account, or require additional verification where we reasonably believe a user does not meet these requirements.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate registration and profile information, keep your account information updated, protect your password and device access, notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access, not create fake or duplicate accounts, not impersonate any person, and not allow another person to use your account without our permission.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create safety risks, create payment risks, abuse the Platform, or appear fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful.
5. User Verification
OUTDORR may require users to complete account, email, phone number, identity, profile, likeness, selfie, liveness, or other verification checks before accessing certain features, including ticket purchases, attendee discovery, messaging, media sharing, event creation, event attendance features, community features, games, or networking features. This may include submitting a real-time selfie, liveness image, liveness video, or similar verification material to compare against your profile photo or other account information for safety, fraud prevention, and profile verification purposes.
Verification is intended to reduce impersonation, fraud, scams, abuse, fake accounts, and unsafe activity on the Platform. However, verification does not guarantee the identity, character, intentions, conduct, reliability, suitability, or safety of any user.
Unless expressly stated, OUTDORR does not conduct criminal background checks, credit checks, employment checks, address checks, or comprehensive identity investigations on users.
Users remain solely responsible for the people they choose to connect with, communicate with, meet, travel with, attend events with, play games with, or interact with through the Platform.
We may refuse verification, request additional information, restrict access to features, suspend an account, remove a profile, cancel tickets, block messaging, prevent event attendance, or terminate an account where we believe that information is false, misleading, incomplete, suspicious, fraudulent, unsafe, unlawful, or in breach of these Terms.
6. Event Discovery and Ticketing
The Platform allows users to browse, discover, purchase, receive, manage, transfer where permitted, and present tickets for events.
OUTDORR acts as a technology provider and marketplace. We do not organize, promote, manage, insure, or operate third-party events.
. Ticket Purchases
7. Ticket Purchases
By receiving, transferring, or using a ticket through the Platform, you agree to comply with event-specific terms, venue rules, age restrictions, entry requirements, and applicable laws; and not duplicate, alter, forge, resell, transfer, or misuse tickets except as permitted by the Platform and applicable event rules.
We may cancel, void, suspend, or refuse tickets or transactions that we believe are fraudulent, unauthorized, unlawful, duplicated, altered, resold in breach of rules, subject to chargeback risk, or otherwise in breach of these Terms.
8. Refunds, Cancellations, and Postponements
Refund policies may vary depending on the event, location, and applicable law. Event-specific refund rules may be displayed before purchase or otherwise made available through the Platform.
Unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law, tickets are generally non-refundable, service fees may be non-refundable where permitted by law, refunds for cancelled events will follow OUTDORR’s refund policy or applicable law, and postponed or rescheduled event tickets may remain valid for the new event date.
OUTDORR may issue or facilitate refunds where we reasonably determine that a refund is appropriate, required by law, required by platform policy, or necessary to address fraud, safety, payment, or consumer protection concerns
9. Networking, Messaging, Media Sharing, and Games
The Platform may include messaging, profiles, attendee discovery, event-based connections, groups, business networking, discussion features, forums, comments, chat prompts, interactive games, icebreaker games, "this or that" games, image sharing, audio sharing, voice notes, reactions, and other social or communication tools.
Certain features of the Platform, such as localized weather forecasts, interactive weather states, map routing, local event recommendations, nearby event discovery, and attendee discovery, may rely on your device location, selected location, event location, or other location-related data. By enabling location permissions or using location-based features, you agree that OUTDORR may process this information to deliver localized services, weather information, maps, routing, recommendations, safety features, and related Platform functionality.
Users are solely responsible for the messages, images, voice notes, audio, game responses, profile content, event comments, reactions, and other content they send, upload, record, share, publish, or make available through the Platform.
You must only share content that you own or have permission to share. You must not send, upload, record, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, harassing, sexually exploitative, discriminatory, defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, invasive of privacy, infringing, non-consensual, violent, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms.
You must not share intimate images, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, threats, blackmail, private personal information, illegal recordings, violent abuse, extremist content, scams, malware, phishing links, or content designed to harm, deceive, exploit, or endanger another person.
Voice notes and audio messages must not be used to threaten, harass, deceive, impersonate, exploit, defame, intimidate, sexually harass, or abuse any person. You are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to recordings, consent, privacy, and communications in your location and the location of the person receiving or affected by the message.
Games, prompts, and interactive features are provided for social discovery and entertainment. They must not be used for harassment, discrimination, sexual pressure, coercion, scams, gambling, betting, illegal contests, exploitation, manipulation, or unsafe conduct. Unless expressly approved by OUTDORR in writing, users may not use Platform games for wagering, paid competitions, lotteries, raffles, or games of chance.
Chats and social features are not emergency services and should not be treated as a substitute for contacting law enforcement, emergency services, event security, medical support, or other appropriate authorities where there is an urgent risk.
OUTDORR does not guarantee the accuracy, privacy, safety, reliability, or lawfulness of any message, image, voice note, game response, or other user communication. Users are responsible for the people they choose to communicate with, meet, attend events with, or interact with through the Platform.
10. Reports, Chat Handling, and Moderation
Chats, profiles, images, voice notes, game responses, events, listings, posts, comments, transactions, and user interactions may be reported to OUTDORR.
We do not promise to monitor every message, event, profile, image, voice note, game response, or interaction. However, where a report is made, or where we detect suspicious, harmful, fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, or illegal activity, we may review, preserve, restrict, remove, or use relevant information, including account details, verification information, likeness checks, profile information, chat records, images, voice notes, audio content, game responses, reports, ticket activity, event activity, payment-related records, device information, IP addresses, location-related information, technical logs, and other relevant data.
We may use this information to investigate reports, enforce these Terms, prevent fraud or abuse, protect users, improve Platform safety, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, or protect the rights, safety, property, reputation, and security of OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, users, attendees, partners, or the public.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, cancel tickets, block users, prevent further communication, prevent attendance, report activity, or take other action where we believe a user, message, image, voice note, game response, profile, or transaction violates these Terms or creates legal, safety, fraud, security, or operational risk.
Deleting a message, image, voice note, account, event, or profile may not immediately or completely remove copies where content has been reported, preserved for investigation, retained for legal compliance, stored in backups, shared with another user, or required for safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement, or legal purposes.
Reporting a user, event, chat, image, voice note, game response, or incident does not guarantee that we will take a specific action, resolve a dispute in a particular way, or become responsible for the conduct of any user or third party.
11. Harmful Conduct and Prohibited Use
You may not use the Platform to break any law; commit fraud, scams, theft, identity abuse, ticket fraud, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or impersonation; harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, exploit, sexually harass, or abuse another person; promote violence, terrorism, extremism, hate, exploitation, self-harm, or illegal activity; upload malicious software or unauthorized tracking tools; infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; publish false, misleading, deceptive, defamatory, or unlawful information; collect, scrape, sell, misuse, or expose user data without permission; interfere with Platform operations or security; bypass verification or moderation; create fake, duplicate, bot, or prohibited accounts; host or promote illegal, unsafe, misleading, discriminatory, exploitative, or fraudulent events; or use the Platform in a way that creates safety, legal, regulatory, payment, reputational, or operational risk for OUTDORR or others.
12. Law Enforcement, Safety Authorities, and Legal Disclosure
We may preserve, use, access, review, and disclose relevant user, verification, chat, media, ticketing, device, location-related, and technical information where we reasonably believe it is required or permitted by applicable law.
This may include disclosure to law enforcement, courts, regulators, emergency services, safety authorities, legal advisers, payment providers, fraud prevention partners, or other appropriate parties in the country where a user is located, the country where an event takes place, the country where OUTDORR or its service providers operate, or any other country connected to the relevant incident, transaction, report, investigation, legal request, or safety concern.
We may make such disclosures where necessary to comply with applicable law, court order, warrant, subpoena, regulatory request, or valid legal process; respond to lawful requests from law-enforcement or safety authorities; investigate or prevent fraud, harassment, threats, violence, abuse, exploitation, illegal activity, security incidents, or violations of these Terms; protect the rights, safety, property, reputation, or security of OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, users, attendees, staff, partners, or the public; prevent death, bodily harm, serious injury, abuse, exploitation, scams, fraud, or other urgent safety risks; enforce our Terms, policies, agreements, or legal rights; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where reasonably possible, we will assess law enforcement or government requests before disclosure. However, in urgent situations involving safety risks, illegal activity, user protection, platform security, or public safety, we may disclose relevant information without prior notice to the affected user, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We will aim to disclose only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant legal, safety, investigative, or enforcement purpose.
13. Privacy and Personal Data
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, share, protect, retain, and transfer personal information.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that we may process personal information in connection with account creation, verification, likeness checks, profile features, ticketing, payments, event participation, messaging, media sharing, voice notes, games, location-based services, weather features, map routing, reporting, moderation, fraud prevention, safety reviews, customer support, analytics, legal compliance, and Platform operations.
Where the Platform operates across multiple countries, personal information may be transferred, stored, accessed, or processed in countries other than the country where you live or use the Platform, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards where required.
Users must not misuse personal information obtained through the Platform, including messages, images, voice notes, profile details, contact information, ticket information, or event data.
14. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit, upload, post, display, send, record, or make available through the Platform, including profile information, event listings, images, audio, voice notes, messages, game responses, comments, posts, reviews, and other materials ("User Content").
By submitting User Content, you grant OUTDORR a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, process, transcode, display, reproduce, adapt, publish, distribute, communicate, moderate, review, preserve, and use your User Content solely for operating, providing, securing, improving, promoting, and enforcing the Platform and related services.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and consents to submit your User Content; that your User Content does not infringe the rights of any person; that your User Content is not unlawful, false, misleading, harmful, abusive, or fraudulent; and that your User Content complies with these Terms and applicable law.
We may remove, restrict, moderate, or preserve User Content where we believe it violates these Terms, creates risk, is subject to a report, is needed for investigation, or must be retained for legal, safety, fraud prevention, or enforcement reasons.
15. Intellectual Property
All Platform software, branding, logos, names, graphics, designs, features, interfaces, databases, text, content, and technology, excluding User Content, are owned by or licensed to OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse engineer, scrape, reproduce, imitate, misuse, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.
Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the Platform, our brand, our software, our design, our data, or our intellectual property.
16. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate with or link to third-party services, including payment processors, verification providers, mapping services, analytics providers, ticket scanning tools, messaging tools, social media platforms, cloud providers, identity providers, advertising platforms, and other services.
Third-party services may have their own terms, policies, fees, rules, and data practices. We are not responsible for third-party services, third-party content, third-party policies, third-party failures, or actions taken by third parties, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
17. Platform Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, or remove parts of the Platform at any time, including features, events, tickets, messaging tools, media-sharing tools, games, verification tools, payment methods, countries, services, fees, or access levels.
We do not guarantee that the Platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or compatible with every device, country, payment method, or network.
18. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OUTDORR disclaims all warranties, representations, guarantees, and conditions, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, safety, reliability, or suitability.
We do not guarantee that every event will occur as scheduled; that every verified user is safe, honest, suitable, or lawful; that every reviewed or verified event is safe, lawful, successful, scam-free, delivered as advertised, or free from risk; the conduct, intentions, background, identity, reliability, or suitability of users, attendees, vendors, venues, or third parties; that all user reports will result in a specific outcome; that the Platform will prevent all fraud, scams, abuse, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity; or that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available in every location.
Use of the Platform, attendance at events, participation in games, sharing of media, and interaction with other users are at your own risk.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and agents shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, personal disputes, event losses, user conduct, third-party conduct, or other losses arising from or related to your use of the Platform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Platform, these Terms, tickets, events, messaging, verification, media sharing, games, or user interactions shall not exceed the amount you paid directly to OUTDORR through the Platform during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, contractors, partners, service providers, and agents from and against all claims, complaints, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to your violation of these Terms; misuse of the Platform; User Content; infringement or violation of another person's rights; fraud, misconduct, harmful conduct, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity; interactions with other users; events you attend or participate in; breach of applicable law; or misuse of personal information obtained through the Platform.
21. Account Deletion, Profile Removal, and Data Retention
You may request to delete your profile or account through the Platform settings, where available, or by contacting us through the support or privacy channels provided by OUTDORR.
Deleting the app from your device does not delete your OUTDORR account, profile, tickets, messages, event records, payment records, reports, or personal information. To delete your account, you must complete the account deletion process provided by OUTDORR.
When you request account deactivation, your profile and event history are hidden, but your account is not immediately deleted. You have a thirty (30) day restoration period to reactivate your account simply by signing back in, unless your account has been restricted, suspended, terminated, or preserved for legal, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or enforcement reasons. If you do not reactivate within 30 days, your account will be permanently queued for deletion, anonymization, or retention in accordance with our Privacy Policy, applicable law, and our legitimate legal, safety, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, platform-integrity, and enforcement obligations.
Account deletion may not immediately or completely remove information that has already been shared with other users, included in event records, included in ticketing records, included in payment records, copied or saved by another user, reported to OUTDORR, preserved for investigation, retained in backups, required by law, or needed to protect users, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce these Terms, respond to legal requests, or defend legal claims.
Messages, images, voice notes, game responses, and other content you sent to other users may remain visible to those users after you delete your account, unless removed by us or deleted according to Platform functionality. Other users may also have screenshots, downloads, recordings, or copies outside the Platform, and OUTDORR cannot control or guarantee deletion of content once another user has viewed, copied, stored, exported, recorded, or shared it.
If your account is under investigation, linked to a report, connected to suspected harmful conduct, fraud, abuse, payment risk, safety risk, legal request, or violation of these Terms, we may preserve relevant information even after you request deletion, to the extent permitted or required by applicable law.
Some provisions of these Terms will continue to apply after account deletion, including provisions relating to User Content, payments, refunds, event obligations, reports, safety reviews, legal disclosure, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, disputes, and any obligations that by their nature should survive termination.
22. Suspension, Restriction, and Termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account or access to the Platform if we believe that you violated these Terms or any applicable policy; engaged in fraud, scams, harassment, threats, abuse, impersonation, unsafe conduct, or unlawful activity; created safety, payment, legal, fraud, security, regulatory, reputational, or operational risks; submitted false, misleading, incomplete, or suspicious verification information; misused tickets, payments, messaging, media, games, or user data; or acted in a way that may harm OUTDORR, ASCND Collective Company Ltd, users, partners, or the public.
You may stop using the Platform at any time. Account deletion, deactivation, reactivation, and related data retention are handled under Section 24 and our Privacy Policy.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, by email, or by other appropriate means where required.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
24. Governing Law, Disputes, and Mandatory Local Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
However, users may have mandatory consumer protection, data protection, payment, refund, safety, or other legal rights under the laws of the country where they live, use the Platform, purchase tickets, organize events, or attend events. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable local law.
Where a dispute arises, you agree to first contact OUTDORR so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it may be resolved through the courts or dispute resolution process with jurisdiction under applicable law, subject to any mandatory local rights that apply.
